cheeto eating, lawn mowing monster

so i've been out of school for a week now, and spent a week with a seriously sick little girl, and things are looking up, all in time for me to teach summer school. (the hours aren't bad 9-12, M-TH..which school should be all year right???)

But in the mean time miss. savannah has found two new loves..
lawn mowing and cheetos.

UNO update

work and slight frustration.

well, a week or so ago, I took Savannah outside, and tried to get my flower beds going... instead I
chased savannah all over the yard.
tripped over two hoses, graciously draped across the yard by savannah
went inside to get a sippy... three times.
ran down a floppy sun hat that wouldn't say in place.
gave up and gave miss banana cakes a ride in the wagon instead.

can you say frustrating... I need some help...how do any of you out there, get anything done with a toddler.
i mean i have projects left and right I want to get done, but i just end up frustrated instead, with projects left and right... half done.
tell me your secrets. :0)

in the past few days, Savannah has...

tried chocolate for the first time. she loves it, is it any wonder??


started wrapping her baby up in a blanket and tries to feed her and sings to her.


tried to take my camera away countless times. what happened to the days where she just sat still and smiled at me.. :0)


learned that emptying the drawers in the kitchen, and then climbing in and out of them, is the best thing next to a bottle of milke and her blankie.

UNO love

last night, after Savannah's bath, she couldn't wait to put on her pj's and hold her no-uno (UNO).
it was so sweet, and she is so gentle with him.
p.s. he's double in size since our last photos.

it's offically happened. Savannah has learned to climb out of her corral.. darn it. we had her trapped in the family room for so long, now she is free to roam. Which is good and bad. Now the kitchen cupboards definately need baby proof latches. Oh the joys of having a toddler.

16 months and counting

Our little doodle bug is getting so big, so fast.. ugh could time just slow down a little. .I'm not askin for alot, just a little ... please???

And just a little update on the bug.

Is talking up a storm. Newest and words said most often are: Elmo, Cheese, please, Uno, hi, hey,more, NO and bath.
Still a picky eater and only two teeth.
Walking and running everywhere. She loves to climb over and under things as well.
Loves to laugh.
Loves watching Elmo, Sesame Street and Barney.
Loves to go for walks and rides in the wagon.
Could live outside if we let her, coming inside usually is followed by a tantrum.
can count to three.
Loves bath time.
gives big hugs and blows kisses.
