Jessica Needs

My dear friend katie, did this on her blog and told me to try it so i did.
go to google type in "Jessica Needs", only substitute my name for yours and see what googles says...
today google read my mind...

Jessica needs a haircut....desperately, i'm beginning to look pathetic.

Jessica needs to update her blog.. holy cow, how did google get so... smart???

Jessica needs cash... to make things, great little crafts and blankets and to buy a whole new summer wardrobe..p.s. who doesn't need extra cash for fun stuff??? oh and cash for sod, for our entire acre would be nice..and amazing flowers if you like to donate to the cause... J/K.

Jessica needs a backbone.... today especially with parent/teacher conferences...yikes.

Jessica needs a bike... I want a vintage one preferably.. in teal or pink..

Jessica needs motivation to... finish the piles of clean laundry waiting for her at home, the years worth of scrabooking.. oh first the motivation to clean up the scrapbook room... motivation to cancel the cable... yikes.. but it's got to be done.

speed demon..aka savannah.

last summer, savannah was in the jefferson county cutest baby contest. she won, for being the "chubbiest" oh the stories we can tell to embarrass her later.... :0)
but she won this sweet leap frog trike, that can be pushed or soon enough have the handle removed and she can learn to ride it.
She LOVES it ,and loves her daddy pushing her all over the house on it, chasing the dog, cat or mamma..
she giggles and laughs so hard sometimes she almost falls off.
she also got this walker for christmas, that she is sometimes permanently attached to. it cracks us up, she is a speed demonon a mission to run over our cat on a daily basis.
we sure do love our doodle bug.

walking...well sort of

miss. savannah is getting better at walking every day. She can walk and hold on to one finger, but just is unsure about doing it on her own. We are getting there. and yes my video is sideways, i don't know how to turn it.

feeling lucky

in honor of st.patricks day, i thought i would just write down a few of the reasons why i feel lucky.

1-i have my health. today at school, we recieved some devistating news as one of our teachers is very ill, and i am so thankful for my good health today.

2-a home and food to eat. in these tough economic times, i am thankful for my home and the food on our table. in a few weeks, nate's job will be coming to an end, as the business officially shuts their doors, and i am just thankful for all that we have.

3-my degree. as mentioned above, we are about to go through some difficult times, and i am so grateful and feel so lucky to have my degree so i can help support my little family.

4-my sweet baby girl. she reminds me everyday how lucky i am and how blessed i am. even though we are starting to have some tantrums.

5- i feel lucky that my mom watches my babe. we have an ideal situation. my mom generously watches my sweet girl while i work. if i didn't have her help, i wouldn't work. ever.

6-our religion, if i didn't know what i know about families and life, I don't know if i would ever think anything was worth it. this world would be a depressing place. I am so grateful for the knowledge i have from being a member of the church.
in

7-my amazing husband. he is going through some changes right now, from work to going back to school, and he is still the best ever. I am so glad we are together for all eternity.

8- for my abilities and talents. I am grateful and feel lucky for the talents I have.
In my younger years, i was always wanting more, to be like friends and so forth and so forth, but now I am so glad and happy with the ablitites i have. I have been able to use them to help others and my family.

9-i feel lucky that we have modern technology.. yeah for the dishwasher, cameras, washer, computers, shoes and my car.

10- for parents who taught me so well, and who love my baby so very much. i am eternally grateful for them.

happy st.patricks day. hope you all are enjoy corned beef and cabbage and three mint brownies..tonight... yumm-ooh, if not, stop by, there will be left overs

the quiet book of my dreams.

I have been searching for months for a quiet book pattern to make for miss.savannah. I finally found one on etsy.. it is to die for. here is what the pages look like. I have not even started mine, but i am itching to get to work.

i am so excited to get to work on this.. i can't wait for spring break.

see this cute face....

if anyone has any great ideas on how to occupy her on a 18 hour drive to Oklahoma ... i'm game.

a new day

isn't it amazing how a good nights rest and yummy breakfast can just make the world seem a little better??
yesterday wasn't my day, but today i am feeling much better, and i am excited for the weekend. it seemse lately that i am always looking forward to the weekend, not that every weekend we do something spectacular or totally exciting. I just love being at home with my sweet babe and hubby.
This weekend it's time to decorate for spring and easter...ohh i can't wait to pull out the tulips and all the bright happy colors. This is of course preparation because next week is the Mini Bazaar and i have to see what i have before i go. If you haven't been, you are denying yourself a great joy in the home decorating world...
I also thought last night that really my life can't get much better, and if i'm down in the dumps i really shouldn't be. I mean heak, i get to come home to this...

and seriously does life get any better??

have you ever...

have you ever had one of those days where nothing seemed to go in your favor?
today is one for me...
work is crazy.
i feel completely disorganized in all areas.
there is a lady mad at me at work for what appears to be for no reason except to be mad( i hate that.)
my motivaiton is low. ( real low)
i don't know... just needed to vent.. ventalation station. thanks. i'm done.
stay calm and carry on.. my new motto.

miss. savannah

I can not believe how fast my baby is growing. URgh...but we love her so much and she is so much fun to watch that i suppose it's a good thing! :0)
Here are a few of her stats at 14 months.

-is thinking about walking on her own. She walks with her little shopping cart, holding on to one finger, and holding on to anything else. Just a little shy of being on her own.

-is working on getting two more teeth. ( aren't you proud aunt becca?)
-is talking up a storm.
Words she can say.
mama dada fish dog cat meow woof yes no grandma
izzie reese hallie ( all three are names of animals she loves and adores)
more thank you (EWWW) stop please (eeesseee) down up book
-love to read books and look at books
-loves watching tv especially sesame street, barney and between the lions.
-is taking two naps a day (we are starting to cut back to one)
-drinks from a sippy.. except for milk. Still working on that.
-loves to be outside.
-laughing and always happy
-sleeps really well at night (except for when those teeth are sprouting)
-wearing 18 months to 24 months clothes
-32 inches tall.. only two more feet and she has her aunt beat.
-25 lbs
-loves to hang out in mama's craft room and is starting to use crayons.
generally the happiest girl you'll meet.
we sure do love her

a new chair

miss savannah got a new chair and she is diggin it.
