lazy sunday afternoon

the first thing you must do on a lazy sunday afternoon is swing with your sweet and handsome cousin.

second thing to do on a lazy sunday afternoon...build a fort of course. This was the first fort that we built for miss.banana cakes and it's simple to say that she loved it. what a funny girl.



and finally.. take a long nap with your new baby doll

okay I'm about to admit something...
this little girl



is still hooked on one of these
and I don't know how to get stop her. in all that i've read they say to go cold turkey...what do you think?? she does drink from a sippy cup, but everytime we put milk in one, she looks at it funny and then refuses it. she usually has a bottle at 5 am, one at nape time, and then again at bed time, but sometimes she has more..
and p.s. will she ever want anything more than cheese and goldfish???
does anyone have any ideas to help me?

garage sale

just thought I'd let everyone know, incase you are interested. My mom and I are having our annual garage sale this weekend 7/17-7/18 from 7am-3pm at her place (4026 E 100 N)
should be lots of great deals. I am getting rid of alot of my scrapbooking supplies, teaching supplies(so if you know a teacher let em know), we have a swamp cooler, wood buring stove, and tons of cutsy decorations for sale. We add new stuff on Saturday morning...all and all tons of fun.
I usually use my profits for my classroom...and since the budget cuts this year I'll definately need it..

i know it's been a long time since i have updated, but just like everyone else, the days seem to slip away in the summer time.
things have been good around here.
just some highlights of july:

our doodlebug went to nursery for the first time this past Sunday, and loved it. She didn't cry, and was completely happy. It's hard to see her get bigger and not need her mommy every second.. ugh.

we celebrate the 4th of july with aunt becca and uncle tj.
Savannah tried a popsycle for the first time and now thinks she needs at lease three a day.
We whipped out the mini pool one afternoon, and our water baby jumped right in.( and now we can't keep her out of it.)
Savannah is loving being outside every chance she gets, playing on her slide or with the puppy.
We have also been enjoying some great terrible two tantrums.. if you have any tips on how to deal...let me know.:0)

an new obsession

well... aunt becca and uncle tj should be proud of this one...
savannah's latest obsession...
tooth brushes and brushing her teeth.
most kids get excited over a new toy..not ours..a new toothbrush and the tooth brush isle at walmart make this kid happy, and causes her to throw tantrums when.. she doesn't get a new one very time we go to the store...
oh the joys of having a toddler.

and that about sums it up...my days are spent chasing one or the other, both are always into some sort of trouble, usually together.. ahhh gotta love a toddler and puppy.

Tomorrow my brother-in-law graduates from dental school. we are so excited and proud of him. we wish we were there.
