nature...

so i am not a fan of nature. at least not for the past few days. On Saturday, we anxiously awaited a litter of pups. Our lab had a litter a few years ago without any complications, well this one was totally different. Three vet visits later,( a nice vet bill), we have one little labradoodle. (google them, sooo cute). We lost two pups, and our lab is finally taking to our little dude.

all in all, sometimes nature is icky and i have vowed to not have another litter of pups.

but we are grateful that our sweet girl made it through this ordeal, and that at least one of her pups survived. We are excited to watch him grow. oh and our little dude is carmel colored, and our lab and the dad are both black... go figure.

come and join the fun

my sweet friend Jorelle is going to be hosting this exciting event. Let me know if you want to come and she will add you to the list. I am not sure where it is yet, but I think it is a great way to save some money and get some new things for your kiddos.

Children's Clothing Exchange on May 15th & 16th. It will be held in Rigby, ID and will run Fri. from 8am - 5pm and on Saturday from 10am-6pm. What do you do? Well you bring all of your kids clothes that you no longer want or need. We then place the clothes that come in on tables with a sign stating gender and size. For example Girls 12-18 mo. After you drop off the clothes you are donating, it's time to shop. Get what you need and get it for free! You have to bring clothing to exchange and you can take home as much as you bring! We want this to be fair and fun! Trade in all of those baby clothes and take home the toddler clothing you need. Please no tears, holes, or stains. We want really good quality items.

there is an update below.

a update

okay.. so i am aware that i need to update my blog. completely aware, i mean even my sister who hasn't updated since Christmas, updated her blog 4 times since i last updated mine.

but seriously... alot has happened. i have a ton of pictures and even a video of savannah to upload, but life has been a little crazy.

I am in the middle of state testing at school. (you know hoping that what you have taught your students all year long actually pays off in a 90 minute 80 question test. don't even get me started on how great...;) i think this is)

We are anxiously awaiting our puppies, and our sweet lab is having a few complications which she has never experienced before.

Savannah is all over the place and into everything. EVERYTHING. (did i mention she is finally walking... no wait RUNNING) And i spend most of my time chasing her, stopping her, and laughing at the trouble she finds.
Last weekend we had a little scare with a gigantic goose egg on her forehead. (slightly scary moment)

We are working on our yard and garden. I might actually get a flower bed this year.

I am winding up the school year and getting ready to go to Oklahoma. I can't believe how much i have to prepare before i go. oh the days where we could just jump in the car and go. :0)

I have about four sewing projects going right now... and i am not an expert sewer so they are slow but getting there.

well hopefully, i'll find some quiet moments to upload some pictures this weekend...wish me luck

five

THE FAB FIVE:
OK! So this is how this works...
The first 5 people to respond to this post will receive something made by me, just for you.

Of course there are some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make! :)
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It will be done some time within the next year :)
4. You have no clue what it will be... Could be lint from my dryer :D) Who knows? Not you, that's for sure. ;-)
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
6. I will send it anywhere! It doesn't matter where you live!

The catch? The catch is that you must repost this on your own blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on their blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did will win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me!!

back from break

well...
i'm back from spring break.
the break that i was going to be super woman and accomplish sooo much...
the break that turned into holding and loving on a very sick little girl...but really isn't that what life is about..
savannah is finally feeling a little better, after two trips to the doctor, a shot and now antibiotics, however, i am glad i was able to be home to take care of my sick little girl, instead of shipping her off to grandma's house.
i'll post pictures soon.
