at a crossroads

so we have reached the point where miss.savannah no longer really likes baby food, but doesn't like the texture in real food and has ZERO teeth. I really don't think she should only eat goldfish crackers, yogurt, yogurt bites and baby cheese puffs. so if you have any ideas...i am more than willing to try almost anything..

When Bria was at that age, we bought a KidCo Food Mill. (You can get one at onestepahead.com) You can take any cooked or soft food and grind it up. It isn't as smooth as baby food, but it is still pretty ground up. I started using it with Max when he was around 10 months. Then, he could eat pretty much whatever we were eating. Good luck!! It's hard when they get preferences for food at that age! It's hard to introduce new things.

What to do...don't stress it. I learned after 3 kids to feed them what they want- try to introduce new stuff one thing at a time and praise like crazy when they eat it. Also, love the font how'd you do it?

That's a tough one. Averie still struggles with eating real food. She usually only likes it if it comes off of Daddy's plate. Averie likes cottage cheese, yogurt, oatmeal (real), canned fruit, and pasta. It's hard that she doesn't have teeth though!

I would try normal table foods. You'd be surprised how much she can gum and break down. If she's good at moving things around her mouth, don't be afraid to give her other things to eat. I can't believe she's over a year without any teeth. That's crazy!
