well, I am finally posting about christmas.
We had a pretty low key Christmas this year. Both of our families live within five miles of each other and we usually make it to both houses every year. This year, seeing how we had Savannah, we spent Christmas morning at home. It was fun to see Savannah get into opening presents. Granted she liked the boxes and paper and moms new mixer more than anything. Your perspective on Christmas definately changes when you have little ones.

daddy's new shoes..

new mega block pian from great aunt karen.. she is in love with this thing. in fact we've had to hide it from her, because it also frustrates her. funny girl.
and momma's beaters to her new mixer. The best gift from santa, if you ask savannah
After our morning together and a good nap, we headed out to Nate's parents house. It was snowing like crazyand we had to take our car back home and trade for the truck so we could make it there.
then off to my parents, where savannah was asleep for the first two hours of the adventure, and my family waited for her to wake up before we had christmas. It was a wonderful day spent with family.
all in all it was a quiet, but delightful day.I love the holidays.
