even if i did design a new blog header and stuff.. i am in a total funk. a creative funk. a teaching slump. ughhh..i hate january and most of february...maybe i should have a better attitude about it..and i don't like being in a funk but i'm there and i need help getting out of it... any suggestions...

Your blog is SO cute? You call this a funk??? I know how you feel though. I usually get really depressed about the end of March when spring just refuses to come. When I'm in a slump I like to have some "ME" time. I also like to go to the library and check out a big stack of books. Sometimes it's the only escape...
